With a little research and thought you can find hundreds of reasons, but there are a few general statements that may help you realize your needs. Why does it matter how it looks as long as it works?

A visitor will be interested and explore your site if it is appealing and easy to navigate. Do I need to use a website design company that is local to me?
Not at all! Everything can be done over the internet or the telephone. We design websites for people worldwide and rarely meet our clients, some of whom have been clients of ours for years.

Why should I use your website design services and not another company, and have you got a proven track record?
We provide a one to one personal service and are friendly and accommodating. We are always available by phone or email to answer your questions. Our website design prices are very competitive. We are experts in search engine optimization, most website design companies are not. Read what our clients say about us website design and optimization testimonials.

Are there any hidden charges for your website design?
No! Once we have all the information about your requirements you will be given a price and that price will stand firm for both the website design and the optimization, if required. The only time a given price would change is if you want another page or any other material added before completion of the website. Theres three things to price in a website. Domain Name, Design, & Hosting.

Can I see the design while my website is under development?
Yes! Once we have your input on how you want your site to look and feel, we will work very closely with you to create the design you are looking for. A rough draft of the design will be created, tweaked and perfected with your input. Once the design for the main page has been completed it will be uploaded to our server for your approval. After approval the rest of website will be developed.

Can I make changes to the website design or text content once it has been started?
Yes! The main page will be uploaded for your approval. If you want changes made to the design we can do it then.

How long will the design of my website take?
Our formal proposal includes a time frame to complete your site. However, meeting the determined deadline also depends on you. Providing all the content needed for the web site up front and quick response on requested approvals is crucial to completing your web site within the time frame agreed upon. Typically a website will take 4-6 weeks to complete. Time varies depending on size of website and development requirements.

How much do you charge for updates?
Our minimum charge is $30.00 per hour billed in 1/2 hour increments. Saying that if it's just a small change we usually don't make a charge!

What screen resolution will you design my website for?

Whatever screen resolution you would like. Most people have their screen resolutions set at 800x600 or 1024x768 so that's the resolution we would usually design a website for. If you have a preference, please let us know.

So, I want to establish a strong presence on the Web. But where do I start?
The four easy steps that we provide below will guide you in the direction to a professionally designed, developed and marketed Web site.

Step One: Domain Name (URL) Registration -- This is the address people will use to access your Web site (www.yourcompany.com). Once you have determined that the URL you wish to use is available, the cost to register a name is anywhere from $8.00 to $35.00 per year. A domain name needs to be renewed every year. We can register your domain name for you for $9.95 per year.

Step Two: Design of the Web Site -- This is where the look, feel, and content of the Web site are determined and created. This is the tedious, time consuming part of the set up. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your website and we will work long and hard to get just the look you want.
Decide what you want on the web.
  • Set your goals - What do you want to accomplish?
  • Organize your ideas into Main Topics.
  • Decide what you want your web site to look like.
    • Colors?
    • Layout ideas
    • Theme?
  • Do you have a web site you admire? Then please send the URL address.

Step Three: Hosting Your Web Site on a Web Server -- This is basically where you rent space on a computer that is always connected to the Internet. Price will vary, depending on the amount of disk space you will have and the connection to the Internet. Webhosting with our service, OnTarget Hosting.com is $80.00/year for the OnTarget Package or $130.00/year for the BullsEye Package.

Step Four: Marketing Your Web Site -- You should be thinking about the marketing of your Web site as it is being designed. The content of the site needs to reflects the search terms you will want your site to appear on search engines. Repeating the topic of your site often, gaining links from other sites to your site, and submitting your site to search engines on a regular basis are the keys to placement.
